9. Family Characteristics (size, occupations, family traditions, stories, etc): I have a small family, only really talk to close family members. We do not have many family traditions except to eat dinner every night and on certain holidays together.

My name is Jayde Bressi. Being a sixteen-year-old girl in Staten Island is hard, because you have not really figured out who you are yet. I live in a more urban middle class area in Staten Island with my father Scott, my sister Nicole, my brother Greg, and my father’s girlfriend Ann. My family is very close, we may fight a lot because were all different but we still love each other. In my family we don't have many traditions due to the crazy life we all live. Even though we really don't have enough time, we make sure to eat dinner every night together. We all do things that take up our life, whether its work for my dad and Ann, school for Greg, and Cheerleading for Nicole and I, we make the time for dinner. Cheerleading is a big part of my life; I spend my time helping other teams and children in the program. Jersey Devils all stars is a very close program. All the cheerleaders get along and were always there for each other. Besides cheerleading I like to read, watch sports and listen to music. Now, most of my life is spent on cheerleading but in the future I plan to spend it on school. In the future I would love to be a chiropractor. I want to make a lot of money and travel to places I’ve never been to, such as Hawaii and Italy. But most importantly I want to do something good with my money. I would want to donate money to diseases I care about, like breast cancers, diabetes and global warming.
