September 11, 2001

9/11 narrative

September 11,2001 was the scary day of my life. I was nine months pregant and i was due in a week and a half. At that time my husband was working at the World Trade Center. I was home watching television a eurgent messaged interupted the show. It showed the city and the Towers have been hit. My first thought was " Where is my husband ?". I picked up the phone and call him. Since i lived right over the bridge in Brooklyn, I walked out on my front steps with my phone in my hand calling my husband over and over again. I remember looking up in the sky and dropping the phone to the floor and i saw the second plane flying low and right towards the second building. Once I saw the second plane actually crash, I immediantly started to cry. I knew there was no way my husband could live. I remember thinking "How could this happen?", I called my mother. We sat for hours and cryed. Until we heard the doorbell ring. I ran to the door, my husband was standing there covered in black smoke, coughing. I couldn't even believe he was alive.

Digital Story 2. 

     In my digital story two it shows how cheerleading is a very communicating sport. To be a part of this a competitive cheerleading team you need to be able to trust all of the girls on your team. It also shows some of my future goals, in my future I want to own my own All- Star Cheerleading gym.

Dreams: Autism Awareness

 

By the time children are three, most parent know if their child has Autism. Autism is a disorder that affects you interaction with other. Children with Autism have hard time with the nerve cell making connections to their brains.  Autism is caused by a mutation in a DNA; too much of the same DNA could also cause this condition. Autism occurs during infancy or childhood and almost always become worse as they continue in age. When their young they tend not to smile or look at people like other children. It takes children with Autism much longer to even begin to speak. They also have trouble responding to there name. Even as people with Autism grow older it is still hard for them to communicate. Most people with Autism never live alone. Autistic people have a very hard time when a normal routine of theirs is changed. They become very stressed and may scream and cry. They have trouble changing anything in their life, some of them can take care of them self but not all of them. Without being able to communicate easily, living on their own is hard. People with Autism have a hard life; Scientists should work on finding a cure for them.
